Last Updated on Oct 2, 2023

With the advent of Covid-19 and the lifestyle changes it brings, primarily self-isolation and staying at home, the interest in e-learning from home has grown significantly and many now have the extra time and circumstances to complete the Online Security Guard training right from the safety and comfort of their home by enrolling in our online security course.

Security companies are hiring and we are open for business!  Security companies have been deemed an ESSENTIAL BUSINESS.

The Ontario government has published a list of essential workplaces that may continue to deliver goods and services.

Stores and properties are hiring private security guards to help with crowd control and the securing of their property and assets.  They are asking us for more graduates. Security is more important than ever.

How do I get my Ontario Security Guard License?

There are two steps to earn your Ontario Security Guard License.

Step 1: Complete your security guard training online here.

First, complete a minimum total of 33.5 hours of study on the online security guard course.

This online training course consists of lessons and quizzes and covers everything you need to know to pass the exam.

You may study this course at your own pace, there is no deadline.

Step 2:  attend a 1-day in-person class to receive your CPR & First Aid training. This training must be from a WSIB-approved trainer. This is a list of all the approved first-aid training providers.

Upon completion of both of these two requirements, you will be qualified and ready to write your exam. We then process your Training Completion Number (TCN).

This TCN is required for you to apply to write your exam. The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions.

In order to pass your exam you must achieve a grade of 62% (37/60).

Once you have passed your exam you are now eligible for your Ontario Security Guard license and you will soon be a Security Guard. Congratulations!

We encourage everyone to take advantage of this remarkable opportunity to learn a new vocation/career with our Online Ontario Security Course from the comfort of your home.
